Wow....just read that Tony Peluso from the Carpenters band passed away this week. HUGE influence on me....used to go see the Carpenters live when I was really young...used to refer to the band as "the freaks" cause they had long hair unlike Richard and Karen! I wanted to be one of those freaks, namely Tony Peluso. His melodic solo on the song "Goodbye To Love" still kills me whenever I hear it. Got to meet Tony once in LA and he was a sweet guy. He produced and engineered many great records but I'll always remember him as the "freak" with the 335 onstage with The Carpenters. May he Rest In Peace!

Well Folks....The tour is kicking off in Phoenix in a few days and I'm looking forward to hooking up with those Doobie Dudes again! Good bunch of guys... Still in "rebuilding" mode on my live rig but I think it's sounding pretty good so far. The Cumberland River is not very kind to electronics....especially when they're under water for about 5 days. Ugh... I'm proud to call myself a Nashvillian at this point, the people really came together to help one another. Well, I'll see you all on the road!
